If a British prince doesn't have a dukedom or earldom his wife just gets called by his first name. Technically Kate Middleton is Princess William.

I always thought there was something a bit off about her alright. Ah sure it's the 21st century, live and let live.

Sorry to be a pedant but he's a singer in the band 'Villagers', It's not his stage name.

I've never hears him perform as Conor O'Brien

So it really is safe to say that tonight, that song was murdered.

A man's wife can be called his first name and surname as well. So a Mrs John Doe. Bit old fashioned and not seen much in everyday use.

I wonder how many of "they died of the plague" songs there really are....

Does that mean that she and William would need to have a physical tract of land as a duchy for her to be called Princess Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge?

No British Princess is ever called Princess Firstname unless she was born a princess. It was the media who started to call Di Princess Diana, she was HRH Diana, The Princess of Wales.

Prince Michael and Princess Michael? Is President Michael extracting the Michael?

I'd say the prince and princess can't wait to get out of the building -

This is our President's way of getting back at them for the last 800 years !!

Can't wait to get back to their princedom of nowhere? (she has a man's name because they have no princely royal territory apparently)

This is the highlight of their fat-arsed royal careers!
