Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whatever Parks wants to do , Connacht will back him 100 percent.

    He owes connacht nothing.

A great servant to the club and he will relish tonight as a oppountity to showcase his talent.

He is one of Connachts best adopted sons

Fair play to Parks, he's done well for Connacht. But time to retire at the end of this season imo.

There isn't "absolutely nothing to play for". We've a very much outside shot of qualification for Europe and chance to finish in our highest position. Likelihood of finishing 6th is quite slim but may as we'll go for it and go down swinging.

7th might not mean much for supporters at the top but it's still progress for Connacht climbing from the foot of the table a few years ago and means quite a bit to Connacht supporters. Parks has been very good since Sarries and deserves to start.

Didn't mean to denigrate Connacht's season but given that Scarlets have a much easier run in, I'd regard sixth as very unlikely. My comment re Parks was more on the basis that he'd be retiring but if he's not, then maybe it's a different situation.

As to whether he's the sort of out-half I'd pick to give it a go and go down swinging, probably not but I haven't seen much of him recently.

Good Connacht try after a disastrous cross field kick from Parks for the Ulster Try. Real bite to the Connacht back line in the last few games.

Brilliant play by Henshaw for that try. Made something from nothing & set up McSharry with great quick feet & pass

Why Fitzgerald? He wasn't picked ahead of him and tbh, Fitzgerald is a better player

Yes. All three missed kicks were from the sideline.

All of them were pretty much just in from the touchline. Parks' probably the furthest in field, but not far.

    Really nice try there.

Muldoon's been carrying very well so far,the Ulster players seem to be having difficulty bringing him down.

Jackson,Trimble and Bowe combine beautifully for Ulster's third try.

Looking like the usual Connacht horror show against Ulster.

    Trimble in some form though.

Connacht do try and play a more expansive game under Lam but defensively they are a shambles.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,745 ✭✭✭eyeball kid

27-5. Urgh, that's just depressing. Days like this I'm glad I don't have BBC to watch that.

They are playing far too expansively tonight to be fair.

Great to watch, makes for a good spectacle but they are getting blown away.

Wow. Trimble just absolutely smashed someone. :D
