Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's quite amazing how cutthroat Liverpool are this season. They never look like they won't score and when they do get there chances they take them.

Jesus the ref had a great view of that, definite penalty from his view terrible decision

If Lucas comes on it's probably for Sturridge at this stage. Can't take off Sterling or Coutinho.

Coutinho seldom plays for the 90. I'd expect Allen to replace him first and then Lucas to replace Sturridge a bit after (depending on the scoreline) to shore things up.

We need to come out all guns blazing at the start of the second half and finish the game there and then.

Poor decision alright. Was a strange tackle though. In that he completely missed the ball, somehow slid between Dzeko's legs without making contact and then headbutted Dzeko's knee. The nature in while and how late Dzeko went down probably did determine things though. As I said though, poor decision.

Been a bit rash with he yellow cards too I though.

Another goal and we'll have them on goal difference.

Looked a penalty all day to me too. WTF was Sakho thinking. City were building the pressure at the end of that 1st half. I expect an epic struggle in the 2nd. Hopefully we can nick a 3rd on the counter.

Terrible dive by Dzeko probably swayed the ref against giving the peno. If Dzeko went over from the foul rather than diving after it, I imagine the ref would have given it

City definitely gonna win this 3-2.

The occasion has been too much for Sturridge, he's been dreadful!

He's been off the boil for a couple of games in fairness.

Jesus I'm drained already. This is mighty but a nervous half to go.

Very trigger happy with the cards. A poor ref in my opinion.

Sturridge has been off key again this match unfortunately. Sterling more than making up for it though. We have been phenomenal on the break!

Great clearance on the line from him and Johnson! Threading a bit dangerously for the past 5/10 mins there. Feared a bit of a defensive clanger but we got away with it.

One of my favourites moments in the match was when, Sterling, after 9 minutes, went for a 50-50 header with YaYa. He leaped like a Salmon and won the header ahead of YaYa.

That, for me, shows how much these biyz want this.

No chance, Yaya gone off. Kompany barely fit to be on the field & a rusty Aguero on the bench. Liverpool have been far superior. I dont see why that will change

Hard to overestimate how important the next 45 mins are to Liverpool's season.

Not sure why Johnson slowed down there, left the ball and then let it go out of play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    What the f*ck Johnson?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,399 ✭✭✭✭Thanx 4 The Fish

Well that has to be the worst shot of the day, great play to get the opportunity then just kicked it off the pitch.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

    Sterling 'full of beans'!
He's going to start doing pushups when the ball is out of play.

Pretty much what they have to do for Coutinho's end of season highlights.

Martin Skrtel has scored as many goals as all 4 of Norwich's strikers combined.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 725 ✭✭✭Mickalus

Why wait 4 mins in to make that change? Surely Milner could have been on at half time?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,399 ✭✭✭✭Thanx 4 The Fish

    What a challenge skittles, fantastic.

If City score I don't think any of us will be able to handle it.
