Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Absolutely gutted at that. But I suppose Liverpool deserve it; they scored more than us. End of story.

    Liverpool's to lose now

You get those decisions when things are going your way, Suarez should have been off 3 or 4 times and City should have had a peno

Henderson tackle was horrible but he hasn't a track record of it wouldn't be too harsh on him

    As should Liverpool.

Henderson got the punishment appropriate to the challenge.

You can argue who it was worse for, but my god that was a shocking refereeing performance.

I make it 2 pens not given for either side and the Suarez red.

Christ if your an apparent Liverpool supporter and you still think your team won't win the league after this result, then your not a true supporter. Sorry but I cannot get my head around that.

    clearly, he is.

First red in 80 odd games? Clearly he's not.

Certainly thrown a cat amongst the pigeons. You can't begrudge Liverpool a league win even though I don't want it to happen in any shape or form. Better teams have crumbled in games like this, they'll have to keep it up for a while yet though.

    Yep, still in Chelsea's hands.

Suarez should have been sent off 21 times.

City should have had 18 penalties.

A lot of emotional energy used up today, I'm worried about the Norwich game.

But what a result. Three points in the bag, it's still in our hands.

There is luck and then there is plain absurdity with it.How Suarez stayed on the pitch was a joke.

I thought Clattenburg was pretty good.

Baffling, hes missed 4 penalties and a red card in one game. How on earth could that be considered to be a good performance?

Can't get over how stupid Henderson was there.

First Moses had a ridiculously bad touch that lost possession, then Henderson did the very same thing before diving in recklessly. He'll know himself now how stupid it was.

Great game. The early goal gave Liverpool the chance to play counterattacking football they are so good at, and they ran Man City ragged at times.

It looked like the Man United and Arsenal games all over again, but Man City are a more resilient side, and once they got back into it, Liverpool fell back alarmingly quickly.

I couldn't see them scoring, but Coutinho did brilliantly to take advantage of the mistake. In the last 10 minutes, for all their urgency and for all that rested on the result, I don't think Man City actually created any real chances though.

Suarez definitely should have gone for that dive mind. Don't know what effect it would have had on the game, as I didn't think he had much of a role in the last 20 minutes anyway.

No it was stupid. Last minute, no need for a sliding tackle that far out anyways and he's gone for 3 games too apparently.

Milner tightened up midfield which helped him get on the ball more in the 2nd half.
