There's a big smudge on your reg plates. You should have told them to sort that too :pac:

Na well wear dude. A fine result after all that drama.

Serious stopping power in these, I went for a 'quiet' drive last night to bed these discs and pads in and the stopping from 60 to 15mph was unbelievable. I have read of people getting warped discs but they should not warp if bedded in properly.

    They look insane!

I'm loving my brakes too, they are far better than stock, and a great upgrade and cheap too. EBC GreenStuff pads and Bosch disks on mine. You hear lots of people warning about needing to warm them before they're effective. This simply isn't true from my experience.

Thanks . I'm looking for a set of the genuine e39 msport alloys as a back up set , but I like the alloys on her too . Got a great deal on this car so I'm well happy :)

They are massive improvement over OEM, No need to warm these up but you do need to do a proper bedding in process, on a quiet national road I should add.

These belong to a car that was well taken care of down here, can't go wrong really.

So as mentioned in the chat thread. A convertible has been bought this weekend.... Myself, Ded Zebra and Quadrifoglio Verde have invested in this barge. It's a 2001 CLK320 Avantgarde for bangernomics money...!

We have called it The Titanic as a temporary name..

(We invested in this after selling our Po-low....:pac:)

Curious, how does the insurance work when there are 3 people using it?

    Named drivers I guess.

Or driving other cars policy used by 2 non-owners.

Wouldn't want to be the main person insured in case one of the other 2 write it off :D
