takes years off of the car imo. very happy with them :).

that's a black rubber bead that goes between the bumper and bonnet which is totally weather perished and saggy, looks like a cavernous gap in photos. it's very prominent, but the gap is consistent the whole way along. the car is a very high miler so i assume the bumper has been off at some point in its past anyway :pac:

    50 shades of grey!

    I love that 500!

The wheels look like they were made for the car, TFB.
Bridgestone make fantastic wheels so I wouldn't worry about quality, €200 is an absolute bargain!

Love it! Hard car to get the wheels right for but you pulled it off, as someone who loves big wheels and no arch gaps! :D

So the Coupe is gone :(

And with all this talk of mazda's rusting, i went and bought this barge.

I do have to say, i love the comfort of it, the Coupe just ended up giving way too many back pains. I will miss it though. Now, time to just make the 6 "my own" :D:D

    I love mine.

I agree. I'm on my third.

I've had a bit DPF issues of late but other than that quality machine.

I'll be in me holidays soon and will take and post a few pics when I get her cleaned up a bit. Badly needs a good clean.

    **PIC Slivia**

    **PIC S2000**

Question on everyones mind which is the best all rounder. Both rear wheel drive as well, rules that part out.

    S14a!!!! No comparison!

Edit: That must be the nicest road going example in the country!

    Ah sorry I didn't realise I was wrong :)

Totally against that verdict though Duke!

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,506 ✭✭✭Interslice

All rounder is a funny way to compare them. I would imagine the honda returns more unbroken eggs from the shops than the nissan!

  • Registered Users Posts: 889 ✭✭✭hi_im_fil

Interslice has it right. The s14 has wafts of turbo power but is just too hard for daily driving. The s2000 handles better and is more comfortable but lacks storage space. Each have their own good attributes but neither is really a good daily :P

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,569 ✭✭✭Special Circumstances

I recognise that the s2k is a serious machine with serious engineering but I really really like the styling of the s14a.

Nissan as a desktop wallpaper for me, never driven either so couldn't say which one I'd rather have for the twisty stuff.

Not the cheapest collection to insure id imagine :p
Did you bring the s2k in from England? The vrt is mad on them. I checked when I brought my z over

Fill, you really have to stop buying my bucket list.

  • Registered Users Posts: 889 ✭✭✭hi_im_fil

Buy all the cars when you can! You might not get the chance later on in life!

Bar new sills and floor pans there hasn't been much in the way of activity on this, less so on the 19 too, so twas nice to get few hours today to put down the first layer of primer. Hopefully by next week the paint can go on. This car has come such a long way since buying it, this is one I am really proud of
