A bit of both tbh. Moving my stuff home, going on the casino for me next leg between Burgos and Leon for 10 days and then just gonna float around until mid July. Moving in with the fiancé then. Big changes and thanks for the well wishes

Exciting summer ahead so! Have a good time. I wish mine was half as fulfilled!!

    Good old toyota

    Actually no.

Well done none the less, can't see why it wouldn't go that far again.

At my mileage rate that'll take about 8 years. Hopefully she'll last even longer :)

Would you not get tired of having the same car for such a long period? I know you haven't it long yet, but keeping it for say 8 years more?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,855 ✭✭✭nd

No I don't think so. It's not a terribly exciting car as it is(although any car can be fun in the bends imo), but I don't think anything in my budget would be. But I trust that it won't let me stranded(so far).

What car is that? The Japanese letters on the cluster look cool. :P

It's a 2000 Toyota Corona Premio 2.0L! I think it's the equivalent of or maybe even the same as a Carina. Chinese is just a reminder to use 95 unleaded.

The most I've kept any of mine is 13 months I'm hoping to slowly build it up and one day I might keep a car for 2 years :pac: ah no I need to start keeping them longer changing so soon can be a waste of money I think 3 years is a good middle ground.

Out of curiosity why have you changed your cars in the past?

Mainly just down to wanting a change granted the focus was just troublesome left me stranded on the road a few times I had no faith or trust in it anymore you quickly realise life is too short to be sitting on the hard shoulder waiting for a breakdown truck. The other two were just wanted a change well I liked my golf but it wasn't a five door car which I need so that was more for practicality than necessarily wanting to change for the sake of changing. Astra was just changed for the sake of it plus I was getting a good bit more that I paid I still have a soft spot for that though.

I'm kind of sick of changing so hopefully I'll keep this megane for at least 2 years and get my monies worth out of it. I like it so far such a comfortable car to sit in for 2-3 hours which is what I want.

Ah yeah but I'd say a good 60% of the stuff I've owned has been boring stuff that I don't even remember; I've had like 4 6n Polos, load of Mk2 Clios etc. Lot bought to sell on too. In the last 12/18 months its just been cool stuff that I like

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,925 ✭✭✭GvidoR

    I've driven a 6N Polo. Quite liked it. :D
