Always had a soft spot for those yokes, and even I don't know why, because they're definitely not pretty!
And that's the (seriously) face lifted version!

Changed the wifes rear lights on the GP, wasn't a fan of the original ones so I got a pair from an Evo GP.
    Look ok?

Gave the interior a spruce today! Really coming around to the light grey dash and loving my IS250 pedals :pac:. I find the seats very asthetically pleasing even if they aren't the most functional and they are much closer to pleather than leather.

if you sat into a is250 you would admire the leather ventilated seats in this weather and the almost silence while driving combined with the plush soft touch material and door closure when you exit the car reminds you of being in a car a bit more premium than a celica, but lets not go there... :p

    Ya. Let's not please.

If you sat in my Low specced Ford Escort you would shift uncomfortably as the heavily bostered recaro seats made you aware of how too many breakfast rolls have effected your hind quarters. But you wouldn't care because once you tuened the key you would be deaf and mad from the petrol fumes that are now seeping into the cabin from the sports cat. You would notice the attentio the car drew unaware that they are really running in terror from the flames now flying our of your exhaust and shielding their frightened children.

That's just the trip to work :p

Maybe i would. But the celica cost a mere €2k and has working climate control and a working tilt/ slide sunroof, that's savage for the money imo!

    The current daily driver :pac:
bought for 600 euro in 2013, spent 400 on it over 2 years,
just sold it tonight for 800 euro, it may be horrible to drive being a 1.0, however the financial sense it makes can't be beaten.

The new daily driver, Audi a3 130BHP tdi 6 speed sport model with only 118k miles and in mint condition, used the tow bar once before it will be swiftly removed next week, along with a full service/detail

That takes me back, my first ever car (technically she was off the road, but grand for beating around the farm/back roads of Leitrim).

Eventually died due to the starter motor, so had to scrap it. But not before doing push starts for a few months.

Has there not already been a debacle over that M3 before?? Something to do with the owner being very young and not being able to afford insurance or some craic like that??

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,925 ✭✭✭GvidoR

There was. From what I remember it as insured, but on open licence, or as a named driver or something... not really sure.

  • Registered Users Posts: 73,454 ✭✭✭✭colm_mcm

Didn't mean to drag it up again, I was really only wondering if the car had been sold as I don't remember the user.

    Apologies.

Then just picked this up yesterday a 530D bit of a compromise between the two and certainly not haiting it just dying for a chance to give the exterior and interior a good polish then do one or two little bits to it oh and four new tyres previous owner has four woeful sunny tyres on it
