My new (ish) bus. Diesel, but pleasant all the same.

And beside the other half's little motor... and some lovely bins!

Almost sure I spotted that mini by the South court hotel earlier. Been noticing a few 10+ years old minis that have been well looked after lately.

Was thinking myself that that mini looks very fresh for a 04.

wish I had parking space like that, I am going to have to leave my place as I can't park my car anymore. A new red car parked next to the Ford carrier has moved in and it blocks me from reversing.

Just back from Germany and I took the Honda to see if the car performs well enough at speed.
Still a slight dead spot but I got it up to 130mph which I was surprised with tbh... It was at 4000rpms but chickened out pushing it harder.
So I can more or less confirm the car is better :)

My bonnet starts to vibrate around as you close in on the 200kph. Not encouraging. Windscreen rubber surround tried to depart the first time... Ah windscreen fitters... consumate professionals one and all...

If the civic was mine I'd try color matched black gloss on the grill. Was thinking of trying color match on my own black grill. Could remove it easy enough if it looked daft.

This all happened in one go today. A whole load of birds flew over at once. I genuinely believe the photos don't do justice to how much **** fell on the car. It's much worse in person.

bird shiite is the worst, best to get it off pronto. I always try leave some micro fibre cloths lying around, the state of them after cleaning that gunk is ridiculous. These bird crap removal wipes are rubbish too, they leave stains that you need to take off anyway.

    Love the car ;)

    Thats nothing:).

You should have seen my car after parking for the day in south wexford under a lampost. The gulls are so well fish fed, it was almost as though there were flying cows...

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,539 ✭✭✭eagerv

As mentioned clean off ASAP. Sea birds' ****e is full of grit and very easy to scratch paint if not softened before cleaning.

They literally carpet bombed the Astra TFB :)
