They look much better Joe might just stick on the old ones again.

I like the font but it's too large IMO for our reg numbers which tend to be long, especially since this 151/152 thing came in. The plate looks way over crowded.

Can't believe than in a country this small, with such a relatively low number of cars, that the BEST system they could come up with for registrations can have sooooooo many darn characters! Jeez - even the German's manage with less, and that place is full of cars with a much higher population!

9 characters - in all fairness!

I reckon its the best system in Europe, at least it was until the pointless 151/152 thing came in. Absolutely foolproof though. The only downside compared to other countries is some people who feel the need to have the newest reg possible. Good for those of us who buy second hand!

Well we have the Healy Rae character and two redundant dashes. They should bring back the old 3 digit 3 character plates. 17.5 million available combos. Will put an end to reg plate snobbery too, although instead you'll see people rushing out to buy a new model car the minute it comes out like they do in the States people with get their dose of consumerism no matter what

I'd go for the metal ones with plastic digits attached to it :) or were they bakelite?

Why would you care unless you are a reg snob? Surely if you are not it gives you more choice

Red calipers and a MCM sticker and you'll have extra 67 hp (50 kW)

Put some concrete blocks in it, then it won't be a mod and therefore will not have to be declared.
