The Ginetta's are a sight to behold, fantastic looking car and seem a hoot to drive.

I'd love to see a speed comparison on the straight from your onboard :)

Anything would seem slow to them!
That saab didn't seem to be pulling away very fast.
Did you get faster as the day went on?

Cannot wait for saturday now, it's what will get me through this week :)

Well I tried going through corners quicker and revving more as the day went on but I don't have any lap times unfortunately. :P

I bet if I were to rag mine around the track it'd come out needing serious work! Definitely not race ready!

Mine only has a bit of polybushing, coilovers and a nice little brake upgrade.
It's not race ready either, if it shows any short comings this weekend then it'll be handy to fix them for next month!

Keeping the car running after you come off the track also helps :pac:

Only for a minute or so, to let it relax, even in a turbo machine a minute will suffice :)

My courtesy car for the next few days I'm happy out was expecting a micra or something.

Looking forward to seeing how the e46 drives.

    318?

Yea 318 not the most powerful 2.0l engine but sure a hell of a lot better than 1.0l I was expecting to get.

E46 has a great reputation so I'll enjoy seeing how I get on with it for the few days I have it.

They say every time you get a new RWD car you have to do a burnout test :pac:

3/4 of a tank in my 535. Not a bad range for a 320-340ish bhp car bt:)

If you're sneaky enough you can make the MPG show whatever you want...

    Not bad from a 1.5 Almera :D

Yeah, like resetting the MPG reading whilst on the motorway or going downhill :pac:

I had it over 60 but I had to find somewhere to pull in to take the pic! Car is gone now, getting a respectable 38-40 from my 1.8 civic all the same though, albeit with slightly less horsepower than chriity139...

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,381 ✭✭✭vintagevrs

    I got this (46mpg) once over a 40km trip.........

    5aj96x.jpg

Very very boring, never went over 80kph.

It also does this if you like :o (I usually get 27mpg)
