Yes it has. I obviously haven't driven it myself but it has and is being tested.

as zebra says the suspension is very basic. It's got MacPherson struts in the front and a torsion beam in the back!, yes you heard right, a torsion beam on a 280 bhp car. The old car, the fn2 had the same setup and was the worst handling type R ever produced.

Fith gear tested both the fn2 type r hatch(torsion beam) and the Fd2 type r saloon(independent rear suspension). The saloon was proven to be a much more competent handler.

That 280bhp VTEC engine deserves a better chassis. The best handling type R was the ek9 which had a very sophisticated suspension setup with double wishbone all around. Now that was a proper chassis.

Congrats, an old video of an old car.

Cars with similar suspension set ups can have completely different driving characteristics.

I'd really hold back in slating the car until it's released...

I think that's just making room for the turbo and bits I think. Or just Saab being weird. :p

Yep! A 91 900, 140bhp as far as i know, my knowledge on this is practically 0, but it should be a fun project

Could be a 2.0 with 118 bhp or a 2.1 with 140 ...2.0 is more likely though as 2.1 didn't sell that well here

Gave it a wash today. Wears its 8 years on it's sleeve.... chips and light scratches hear and there - and the disks are still rust-dusted because it's literally just been dried so it hasn't been brushed off yet with a drive.

Still. Black is a good colour for them.

    That's a wonderful looking Z...

    What's the V6 like?

I'd be on the N3 a fair bit. What are you driving? Give me a wave next time :pac:

The V6 is silky smooth, lots of torque developed low down (I think it's max torque is already produced by the time it has reached 4k rpm). It has a glorious soundtrack too once you start pushing it on.
