Any issues with the S60 with that kinda miles? My 09 Mondeo is just after hitting 280k and was looking at S/V60's as a possible replacement.

Nope. Runs perfectly. Serviced every 20-30k miles or so. Never missed a beat.

The D5 is quite an old engine and is much simpler then a lot of the newer ones. The next one will be a D4, which is a much newer engine.

194k miles on her this weekend and due another service, by my rules anyway.
Gave her a quick Polish too!

It's in great nick for that mileage!

Those alloys are 100000x better then the previous ones.

    Everyone says that :)
Got it with 133k on her early last year and have put that up on it very quickly but minding it well.

So it does look a lot better than the mileage would suggest. One thing that's just beginning to let go is the steering wheel, ever so slightly.

It's proof that if you look after something it will last a long long time, engine included!

I know i love them, always despised the last ones. Style 95's would be a dream but they are hard to come by and cost a bomb.
I got them recently refurbed and with two decent tyres for 160!

Engine has proven bulletproof, i change the oil almost twice as much as recommended but it's cheaper in the long run.
She's going to need a turbo soon though, electronic actuator is acting up and i don't think you can seperate them!
Damn thing because the turbo is fine, little play but well within limits!

Don't talk to me about turbos :pac:

Very sorry for reminding you of what must have been a very trying time in your life :pac:

I'm getting limp mode now the odd time, logging an overboost fault. I had been noticing how torquey she was off late.

Think I'll get it mapped to allow it think them limits are acceptable :) 2bar plus :)

    I feel your pain!
Luckily I sold my e60 before having to deal with the issue.
Did you happen to let a certain poster sit in your car? He seems to contaminate turbos!

I was in it the day she went into limp,
    Maybe it's me :(

I really like the wheels on the e60. Great choice.

It's the 3rd generation of the engine, but it's been around in some shape or form, since 2001.

Far far far too generic man. That would be, for me anyway, the equivalent of just buying a 520d. Because it's the done thing.

The most recent picture of my wagon. It's very rare that it's actually clean but runs like new. Currently has 196,000 miles on the clock, so about 8 times around the world :P Is perfect for my 500 mile a week commute. However, starting to get the itch for something new(er) but finding it hard to part.

Love the colour, it's nice to see an Audi that isn't grey, black or silver.

Don't put the 172M wheels on an SE. They don't look or sit right at all on the SE cars.

Seen that before alright, it looks so out of proportion!
