what milage do you get on the 335i out of interest? any maintenance issues?

Mileage.....haven't a clue. I drive it hard enough and spend c. €60 a week on petrol.

Maintenance issues - nothing apart from having to replace the 2 turbos due to a common fault of the wastegate bearings breaking down and not sealing properly resulting in a loud ratchet type noise that increases/decreases with the revs and increased turbo lag.

cant imagine 2 turbos be cheap, one of the reasons i don't like the German cars with turbos.!

No, still have it. I just liked being the loner :P

I can't afford the M-Sport kit but mine came with the aero kit instead. Looks a lot better IMO, that M Sport is over done :pac:

    Any pictures?

How much did the turbos set you back?

Ouch - I had the water pump + electric steering lock issues.

Lovely machine, have you upgraded those angel eyes?

Those are LED bulbs from Burger Tuning (same crowd I got my JB4 from). They kept blowing on me and BT kept replacing them FOC until I got fed up and asked for a refund. They were really nice while they lasted. I now have Arc Angel H8's which are the same thing as the OEM ones except they produce a white light rather than yellow.

    I haven't had either of those issues...yet!

Whether you like them or not - you would have to say that Continental looks to be a stunning piece of engineering.

What are they like to actually drive......

Such a turbine feel to them. You put your foot down for a few seconds and before you know it you're at 60. Every once in a while you catch an engine note and its just awesome.

Never posted here before but cleaned up my E46 today and was happy with the result.
Will do the same for the E60 during the week and hope it looks as good (to my eyes anyway!).

Cool to see an all original e46! Looks well.

    Bought it in 2005!
Was going to change it to an RX8 in 2008 but was too lazy to advertise it. Am glad now though as it is a great backup family car.
Only problem I every has with it was the water pump went in Nenagh on the way back from Cork one Sunday Tipp were in an all-Ireland semi final.
Waited about two hours for a recovery truck and the driver took me and the car to my father in laws garage in Leitrim. Sound man.
