Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey, I just got a very expensive suit steamed and now there are two lines of stitching noticeable on both sides of jacket, is this normal or have the dry cleaners messed up?

looks looks the thread shrunk during the heat.

can you prove what it looked like before you dropped it in.?

can't be fixed to my knowledge

what does the garment tag say

if it didn't have the fiber content of the trims the cleaner would never have known this could happen.

How expensive was the suit? Secondly by the visible stitching do you mean the stitching along the lapels and jacket front? Pick stitching there is a design feature on a lot of RTW suits at present, and it may have become far more noticeable due to the way it was pressed.

BTW a suit should never be steamed but pressed with a wet presscloth and a heavy iron [or vacuum table]. Too much steam can cause the fusing to delaminate or cause other problems.
