Canadian insurance, a bit confused! (IEC)

Hey guys,

I got my POE today, so now I can fully relax! I'm curious about insurance.

Many of the places that I checked, and people have been showing in the threads seem to show "backpackers" insurance, but on the Canadian immigration site it says..

"Proof of Private Healthcare Insurance with coverage extending for the duration of your stay in Canada"

Is Go4less, backpackerinsurance.ie, vhi...are those 2 year plans ok?

What did most of you go for?

How long were you waiting for your POE letter after submitting your info in Stage 2?

It's mad how theres so much info and chat on this forum about everything else visa related, but almost nothing on insurance. Anybody here see any ones that stand out from the rest or are they all more or less the same?

There's variance within the difference policies there all abouts the same amount or there abouts. It's really down to what best cover suits you. The cheapest isn't always the best tho .
