They're pass/fail and therefore won't affect order of merit.

Well the first tranche is rumoured to be a hundred or so candidates so assuming (big assumption it must be noted) that the medical and physical go without a hitch you could probably be expected to start in the first tranche if you're placed in the top 100.

By the way. Me saying I was outside the top 200 isn't a terrible thing. It's not like the band situation. Just means I won't make the first tranche which is disappointing to say the least.

My calculations make it between 260 and 300 passed but these are rough figures to be taken with salt.

I was told by the woman after my interview who works in HR that they want 300 but wont achieve that by July 21st so taking top 100 but also told me that on completion of stage 5 that "the quicker you get through the vetting the quicker they can get u to Templemore"

No, they're from earlier stages. Band one was stage 1 results I think. Group 1 was stage 2 results. I could be wrong there though.

I'm definitely less than elated, was hoping to make the first class. At least I passed though!

Obviously if there is a delay with your vetting form you might miss out on getting in for July even if you have finished in top 100.

Yeah, I failed. It's what I expected but still distraught. Under-performed severely, if I only dropped 100 places I would still have got it. Nevertheless, congratulations to all who passed.

Top 200!!!! They'll definitely have to have 2 intakes, they'd never open templemore for just 100 people. I'm actually feeling happy about being in the October intake as it gives me more time to sort myself out before heading up!

I had been told by a reliable source in the lead up to the interview that there would be two more intakes of 100 by the end of the year.

I Passed and am in the 220's so i hope to god they're right.

I placed 132! Ohmygad... I never felt as sick as I did while waiting for that email to open!!! The email is vague, but hopefully that means i'll get called for a medical soon.

In the 60s. Delighted though July is not great for me with other committments so will be seeking defferral if have to - hopefully acceptable but will ask at medical/PCT. I suppose it comes down to vetting now about who is in July intake too!

yeah vetting dictates what calss youll be in

quicker it comes back the more likely youll be down in July
