Has anyone heard any news regarding hiring fir the new Tesco. Been looking on the website and nothing. Any information would be great. Thanks.

When is the new tesco set to open? With that being open 24 hours I can see McDonalds opening 24 hours as well.

Tesco iis due to open in August but may open earlier as work well ahead of schedule.

Tesco are currently hiring a customer assistant for their Dundalk Extra store on the Avenue Road.

Contrary to rumours in the area, this is just one full-time position rather than a range of roles in their new superstore, which is due to open in August.

However, the successful candidate for the position will naturally make the transition to the new superstore, while CVs may be kept on file for the range of new positions which are due to come online when the megastore eventually opens.

According to todays Argus newspaper all the jobs have now been filled.
