3.12:08. I think that close to a PB. 8 minutes faster than his target!

Brendan Foster has made a 180 degree turn. It once was the case that sub 3 guys were fun runners, now he's saying Chris Evans, estimated 5 hours, is a good runner.

Had my number folded and got stopped by some steward with just coming around the corner on the mall. The Brits love their rules.

In fairness, it is one of the most clearly publicised rules about marathon running that your bib number should always be visible.

The number was but the huge addidas and huge virgin logo weren't.

Sitting at the baggage trucks waiting for my OH to finish. The last 6-8 miles of that may have scarred me for life! So so delighted.

2:54.17 I think. Yeah it was a paced run. Faded a tad up to 35-40 but got back on it then. Missed a good few weeks in the build up with sickness so happy considering.

Perfect day for it lads and thanks for the messages of support etc.

Delighted for Radcliffe. Great that she got the opportunity to run with me for half a mile. She told me it was the highlight of her career :)

I can imagine the coverage was head wrecking but the support for her on the course was very special. In fairness to the Brits they appreciate their sporting greats. We could learn a lot from them!

Now I'm off for about 10 PB beers. Beer mile training starts today. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee hhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaa
