RPGs and LARP submissions for Gaelcon 2014

(Full Disclosure, I'm one of the undersigned RPG team members for this years Gaelcon)

Spring is in the air and behind the scenes the Gaelcon committee are hard at work. This years convention is shaping up to be a cracker and will once again be back at the Ballsbridge Hotel over the October bank holiday weekend (24th - 27th October).

Gaelcon is all things to all gamers - from CCG's to Boardgames to Wargames to LARPs & RPGs, there's always a jam-packed schedule. But we couldn't have a convention at all without the work of Ireland's generous (and might we say attractive, talented and intelligent) writers who volunteer their time and scenarios to the convention. And so with Gaelcon 2014 on the horizon, we'd like to invite you to wade into the breach once more. Writing for Gaelcon nets you con entry, a bag of goodies, food & drink while you run your game, and last but by no means least, the unending gratitude of the RPG & LARP team. Writing multiple games will net you all that, plus additional “stretch-goals”*

Phase one for submissions ends on 31st of May - after this point we enter Phase two and begin constructing our timetable. We will continue accepting submissions until the 30th of June but preferential treatment will be given to games submitted by the May 31st deadline. We know people are eager to find out what's running at conventions and plan their schedules accordingly so we aim to finalise the timetable and have it online before the end of summer.

As ever we can't always accept every game that we are sent, but we will make sure to notify people as soon as we know how our timetable is progressing.

If you have an idea for a game, then email us at rpgs@gaelcon.com or larps@gaelcon.com with the following information:

Your Name: (As you want it to appear in convention materials)
    Game Title: (Ronseal)
System: (What system, if any, your game uses)
    # of players: (We'd prefer if this was a range rather than a number, as it makes ticket sales easier.)
Blurb: (A short(~100 word) hook for your game. This will appear in the conbook and on the website)
Rating: (E for Everyone, T for Teen, M for Mature. What's the youngest gamer you want on your table.)
Tags: (2+ descriptive tags that will inform players what kind of thing to expect – the genre, setting, theme, etc. Something like 'Fantasy & Investigative', 'Sci-Fi & High Combat', 'Horror & Historical')
GMs: (The names and email addresses of 2+ people who you have (been) volunteered to run extra tables of your game. Ideally these should be people who know the game, know the system, and/or know the way your mind works)
Deal-Breakers: (Any slots you can't/really don't want to do? Let us know here and we'll try to accommodate you)

Thanks for reading and we're looking forward to seeing you at Gaelcon 2014!
    Wishing you the best,
    Aonghus, Michelle & Mike
Gaelcon 2014 RPGs & LARPs team

*Stretch-goals will be revealed at a later date, once we determine what we can get away with offering you. But we guarantee** you that they'll be good.
    **Not a guarantee
