IS the pc a hp pc,?
IF you are connected to the net , i think the pc will check,
is this a genuine copy of windows 7,
OR it,ll display ,this is not a genuine copy of windows .
IT may have done this already.

    Before you bought the pc.
OEM media is usually a dvd which allows you to install the os on any pc,
or maybe just hp pcs, in your case.

Did the seller provide you with a hologram Windows 7 DVD and/or a sticker with the 7 ultimate product key and hologram? If not it's possibly counterfeit. It is also possible the seller used a MSDN product key to activate the computer, which is also illegal as it goes against the terms of the MSDN agreement.

I got nothing except the desktop HP5700 with xp cao on it.
I get regular updates and no problems after rebooting.
Was an adverts seller who seems to get workplace pc's and cleans them up and sells them on.

You won't be locked out or anything, but you'll have some annoying notifications and a black desktop background as stated in that link.

Just so you're aware, even if that test comes back saying genuine, it doesn't mean that it is. The popular activation cracks for Windows use SLIC injection and are pretty much undetectable.

Essentially there's no way to be 100% sure unless you do a fresh install of the OS and activate it yourself.

Companys may buy a license for 20 pcs ,and install windows 7 on them.

what does the label on the pc say?
i bought a new laptop in peats, sony netbook.
after 5 months a message appeared ,this is not a geniune copy of windows .

    otherwise laptop worked as normal.

I used boot menu, reinstall os utility to reinstall windows 7,
    now message no longer appears.
    reinstall from hard drive option.
