    Hi kala85,

    Many thanks for your posts.

You can view a full list of Visa Debit card transaction charges in our schedule of fees and charges brochure here

Most chipped ATM's in Western Europe have a daily withdrawal limit of €500. Non-Chipped ATM's have a daily withdrawal limit of €250 and some countries would have a limit of €100. Also, please note, some banks may apply their own limits.

Should you need to contact Bank of Ireland 365 from abroad, the number is 00 353 1 4044000. Representative assisted hours are 8am - 12midnight Mon - Fri and 9am - 6pm Sat, Sun and Bank/Public Holidays.

    Thanks

    Billy

ATM withdrawals from Eurozone ATMs are charged the same as at home right? i.e. 20c per ATM withdrawal unless you qualify for free banking.

Or have I read that wrong?

    Hi 1huge1

    Thanks for your post.

That's right, a transaction charge would apply and this is 20c if you do not qualify for the Free Transaction Offer. If you are withdrawing a currency other than Euro, there is a cross-border handling fee which is 3.5% of the transaction value with a minimum of €3.17 and a maximum of €11.43 per transaction.

    Thanks

    Billy
