Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Not nice to see at all - they seem to have very very short memories.

As a Toffee I agree, but also understand the thoughts behind the ill feelings.

Good team happy with that now.

    No Evra either
Seems as if next season is already on his mind - if i'm not mistaken every one starting "should" be here next season.

I honestly don't - he pushed you lot up from near relegation to becoming a very decent, hardworking team on a shoestring budget... I don't understand how any Everton fan can boo the man.

Folk don't like the fact that he met with Fergie after Christmas and agreed to be his successor. Not a big deal in my eyes.

Coming back for Baines and Fellaini with that derisory bid, coupled with the comments that it would be better for their careers and if SAF had came to him with a bid then he wouldn't have stood in their way. Now that's just laughable and took him down a peg or two in my estimation.

Anyways, fans are fickle by nature, such is the game.

Happy with Everton's line up, United's is good but I hope it doesn't click lol

    2-1 to the Toffees.

Nani is off if you believe the papers though!

The booing was to be expected really, shame but thats football.

I would imagine in the future he will be remembered as fondly as the day he left when he got a tremendous send off.

Ha didn't SAF "tell" Moyes that he was the new manager of United? ;) ... Yeah I suppose they might be slightly upset at him trying to get both Baines and Fellani but christ to be booed for it really is something to behold and does not look good at all...

but anyway heres hoping for a good open game and a United win ;)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,825 ✭✭✭Timmyctc

How annoying would it be if Moyes *just* found out this is his best team.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,061 ✭✭✭irishfeen

Actually yeah he might be the only possible departure from the starting 11 but maybe Moyes has told him - 5 games, prove that you deserve to be here...

Such an attacking team by United away from home is dangerous against everton. In my opinion Coleman and Baines constantly attacking will be the cause of United's downfall today. They won't be able to handle the constant attacks from Everton. Especially not when their midfield is full of players with too much flair and not enough defensive discipline. United's full backs are too weak.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,414 ✭✭✭Toobz

So so soooo happy to see Moyes experiment with a really nice front 4, probably our strongest team bar maybe Fellaini in there for one of either Fletch or Carrick!

Moyes has admitted himself it shouldve been done differently. He was furious with Mark Hughes over the manner of his persuit of Lescott....but as soon as he left did the same thing himself

But then lot of Moyes' values as Everton manager seem to be former values of his since he left

I don't know and I can't recall where the 'evidence' came from but I believe it was the case, still doesn't affect my opinion of the man and what he done in his time.

Anyways, in ze past it is and I, for one, wish him well.

Just prefer seeing Nani play. Best wide player at the club by a distance.

Tough game for Evans to make his comeback. Lukaku will be a handful you'd imagine.

United’s tempo today is entirely different. Decent off the ball movement, intent and urgency with their passing.

That "don't stand" tannoy announcement - every ****ing game at Goodison :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,010 ✭✭✭Wisesmurf

Nani's first time passes have been well weighted and crisp.

Kagawa doesn't look good so far been caught for pace a few times.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,709 ✭✭✭shrewdness

Coleman's going to do damage down that wing sooner or later.

Kagawa isnt a LM so we'll be weak defending that side.

Smalling isnt a RB so we'll be weak going forward that side.

The ball needs to be moved from defence to attack quicker, trying to pass it through Everton after letting them get all their players back makes little sense

"@RorySmithTimes: Man Utd's fans at Goodison - having already unveiled a JFT39 banner - now singing "Justice for the 39.""

"@TonyBarretTimes: More boos at Goodison. This time after a chant of Justice for the 39 from the away end."

minority scum trying to steal the limelight I see, and its a game against Everton.

come on Everton fűcking smash them.
