Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Jesus this is turgid stuff. Hopefully this will be the nail in Moyes' coffin

We're playing with no striker with Rooney that far back.

With Rooney dropping deep we never have an outlet up front. That coupled with his big long balls means hes completley out of the attack.
He needs to stop dropping deep so often.

United have played well enough I think, controlled a lot of the play just can't find the killer ball, not getting enough players forward.

I don't think Rooney understands how to play the ball on the ground in this game.

No scope for a comeback for united. Too many players out of position and to ready to read for Everton. Another disappointing day in a horrible season.

    Glazers Out!

Has Rooney made the right choice once today?

Hopefully Moyes has the balls to take Rooney off.

The annoying thing is there's glimpses of some really good football there. Its like the team is flirting with achieving a fluidity similar to that of a few seasons back. (Nani's first goal v City in charity shield springs to mind)

Also. RE: Goal. Buttner is awful at the offside trap./

    finish from mirallas.

Get up them stairs and join Baines young Mirallas!!!

If Mata didn't spend so long on the ball and then lost it, it wouldn't have gotten that far. The defending afterwards left a bit to be desired too in fairness.

    We're actually ****. Properly ****.

I'm sure I've said it before but I'll say it again for emphasis, I don't rate Jones at all, particularly as a centre back where his mistakes are highlighted so much.

Liverpool fans cheering on Everton, clueless... Buttner holding that line yet again. 2 gifted goals although nice finish for their 2nd.

Hopefully Everton save some of this treatment for City.

Unfortunately Arsenal aren't gonna let that happen.

Home defeats to Sunderland and Palace are really going to come back to haunt Everton.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,385 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

United are playing simple, intricate stuff and then when it becomes time to make a final ball they are all overcomplicating it.

Fantastic half from Everton. More goals likely 2nd half I'd say.
