I'm very happy with the grass I sowed this spring that had those first two and tyrella in.
Ye I'd use it. Should be as good

I sowed that mix with tyrella instead of the clanrye, very happy with it.

Ye I've grazed mine every two weeks since sowing.
Going to sow more of it

Will be overseeding next week, anyone recommend a good mixture for sheep pasture, went with a Kilkenny mix last year from mcguinness's and happy enough but wondering if anything else out there

This field was last reseeded when farm machinery was fuelled by hay and not diesel! A lot of weed and not productive. Has gotten lime, slurry and fertiliser and soil indices are good so time for a reseed.

Sprayed it off with gallup, grazed it 5 days later. Chain harrowed x3, 13kg seed/ac spread in 2 passes with wagtail, 10-10-20 x2/ac, 1,500gl slurry. Patchy growth is my fault as I overestimated spread width. Also my first pass with seed got wet and made a balls out of spreading it.

Any suggestions as to fixing the patchiness? I'm thinking post-emergence spray now and graze as soon after that as I can. Then spread seed where it's bare, fertilise and bale it 6-7 weeks later.

Went with my plan and it's working out :

Closed now for a quick cut of silage in 3-4 weeks.
