Need some advice for history if anyone can help.

Just wondering if picking 3 essay options for each section (e.g. 3 for dictatorship and democracy and 3 for The United States and the wider world) is a safe option? I have a lot of faith in at least 1 of my chosen essays to appear in each section.

Just want to gain an understanding of how other students are preparing for the exam. I want/need history to be one of my top honours, and I did a hell of a lot better than I thought I would in the mocks. Any suggestions or replies would be great!

Endocrine was a full question last year . Very little chance of being repeated ^^.

Well maybe a short question thing :)

Lots of people seem to be tipping that Gaeilge could come up as a topic for the Aiste- I'd prob end up doing a jig on my desk if that happened! That and Na Meáin Chumarsáide are my favourite essay titles.

Their my 2 top bets for the essays, Bliain na Gaeilge was 2013 (when the papers were being set) and neither gaeilge or meain chumarsiade have come up on the new course ;)

It could be a debate either :)
I am so tempted to do a debate though xD

    For accounting:
Sole Trader, Controls, Reval/Depr, Cash flow, Suspense, Service, Marginal+an extra, Cash budgeting - according to one of the grinds schools that nearly always has it correct and according to my teacher has an "informant":rolleyes:

Given Cash Budgeting has come up in the last two years, do you not think Production or flexible are a better bet?[/QUOTE]

Either production or flexible I think are more likely to come up :D It would be great if they did :D

Are you going to do Q5? :)

I think debates are easier tbh, you can learn off a beginning and end paragraph that will fit everything, and theres loads of phrases you can throw in in the middle to make it longer

He's putting them up every day, check out his youtube channel.

The words 'predictions' and 'reliable' don't go together. The predictions he gives are very open-ended as well. He only really gives topics and not specific Q's which a lot of people are probably looking for.

He hasn't put up one in a few days ? yeah I know ur right but they're still helpful at this time

It's like the poets and the single texts. In English the paper two syllabus changes every year. Next year they have Literary Genre instead of Cultural Context, just like they have Othello instead of Macbeth.

    Anyone have any chemistry predictions?

from what my teacher hinted at :
Q1 titration , either acid and base or redox (iron tablet , water of crystallisation)
Q2 organics , SOAP , ethanal / ethene or ethanoic acid
Q3 water , suspended and dissolved solids or oxygen production

    for all the others
    know your atomic theory
    and the usual organic reactions
    Chateliers principle

knowing your organics is a key to a good grade in Chem.
its very general but on the other hand a new person had made our paper so its hard to say

Water came up last year so our teacher said it's unlikely it'll come up again unless it's the free chlorine concentration one, which is extremely easy :)

how likely is a style question for an triail in irish??

something came across to me lately : stage directions , that that would be reallllllyyyy nasty . Cant even find notes on that anywhere !

other than that the role of men , and the society of ireland at that time
maybe the role of Maire as a single mother and her difficulties ?

I dont know why people rely on eoin jackson's predictions so much, his economics predictions are the vaguest I've ever heard?

Ugh, last year's chemistry paper was absolutely horrible.

The marking scheme punished people for absolutely everything, in question one if you rounded up to something like the nearest hundredth thousandth you lost 3 marks.
