Is Russia essentially guaranteed to come up in history? It seems to come up every year in the dictatorship and democracy section.

Wat do people talk about in the essay on "Gaeilge"? I've never done one but everyone seems to think it's pretty much guaranteed!

It's obviously not guaranteed but it does happen to come up often. I really like that section all you have to know is economy and show trials really.. He's my fave dictator haha I wouldn't bank on it though I'd def have a back up; all 3 dictators and you should be sorted. I usually prefer to do those essays instead of nazi propoganda as there is more to write about so u can afford to leave out a few points

I find it ok, but the GVV essay is much clearer in my head :pac:
Now theme or issue.. There's something I never understood XD

I don't get the hype over key moments.. I just kinda go with the flow and refer to everything I feel is important, I don't have any in depth scenes that I know crazy well or anything :o

I just find they really restrict you. I did a question where you had to find ONE moment to define the whole outlook of the text... wat...

    What question was that? 0.o
Whenever I get specific qs like that I always discuss everything else and then juxtapose that moment against the rest of the points to show how it made a difference :o

Ugh, last year's chemistry paper was absolutely horrible.

The marking scheme punished people for absolutely everything, in question one if you rounded up to something like the nearest hundredth thousandth you lost 3 marks.

I nearly threw up when I seem it! Still though managed a C without knowing much .. !

sorry for the ambiguity, yeah I was talking about the binomial expansion :)
Binomial expansion is definitely NOT on this year. It has only just been added to the course for next years leaving cert.

Binomial Expansion and Central Limit Theorem are the great ambiguities. No one can say for definite if they are on.

I personally think BE is but CLT isn't.

Central Limit Theorem has most certainly been added to the 2014 syllabus. Binomial expansion has only been added to the 2015 syllabus onward. There is no doubt.
