"Pictures.library-ms" is no longer working.Help!

    Hello all,
    I'm hoping someone may be able to help?
    I can no longer view any files I've downloaded to Pictures,Documents,Videos,etc.
    When I click on any of these folders the following message appears:"pictures(/documents/videos/etc.).library-ms" is no longer working.What's going on?
    I'm not sure if it's possible to retrieve any of the files I've downloaded to these folders,but how can I get this back up and running again?If I wish to download an image/file now,it goes to 'Downloads'.My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C50A-A-17T.I'm a complete numbnuts when it comes to computers,so please be gentle!!!
