Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why did the brom player try to kick the ball away for Zab's goal? Why didn't he try to head it? Not saying he'd have saved it but raising your foot is far slower than flexing your head.

Even though Chelse and Pool still have to play. Don't be mad. 5 points with 3 games left is nothing. Still all to play for.

We're out of it, no voodoo bo***ocks.

We wont win at Anfield, id love if we did, it would give us a hope but give City a huge boost.

Madness! Liverpool's style of attacking play and fraility at the back play's right into the hands of a team like Chelsea. Favourites to win at Anfield imo.

Haha favourites? Us? Away? Weve the 6th/7th best away record against the 2nd best home record and top scorers, ye can try keep up the jinx if ye want but in yere position and our UCL semi final either side hand ye the advantage.

Anyway, cmon city keep it interesting, anything but a win and its done for ye too.

    Um, I don't support anyone. :P

Against the top four what is yer away record? Chelsea are poorer against team that can't openly attack them. This has and probably will always be the case with Mourinho's teams. They're set to negate other teams, not beat them proactively. Liverpool at home, with the fans wanting them to attack, will leave themselves very open to Chelsea. It's an intriguing match up and I have Chelsea slight favourites. Game with Atletico or not.

Then get everything you have and lump it on Chelsea @ 7/4 draw no bet.

Seriously, if you think you're right you can just cover the bet and it's free money.

    Weve beat City away.

    Drew with Utd, arsenal, spurs

    lost to everton.

Not a great record TBH when only a win would give us a slight hope.

Think that's probably this one fairly wrapped up now. Expect 1 or 2 more in the second half, especially if WBA try to chase the game a bit.

I was just reminded that the club (in their infinite wisdom!) decided on selling match tickets for the last three games as a bundle,at somewhere between £150-180. People haven't got that sort of ready cash at the moment. So, I'd imagine that the attendance for the Villa game in the last midweek of the season will also be down.

I thought he was excellent against Liverpool, some amount of vital interceptions.

    4-1 here i reckon.

Yeah in fairness to him he's been miles better for the last 2 months or so. Never thought I'd see the day to be honest, he looked so bad for the whole first half of the season.

Hard to believe City are in a title race when you see the atmosphere in the ground. It's like a pre-season friendly in July.

Thats what charging £56 (€68) to away fans does.

It's far too expensive. Hope the extra seats bring the price down a bit, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Don't wish to derail this thread.

That City performance was mightily impressive. Everton, Aresnal, Utd were all at the beginning of the season. So I wouldn't pay too much attention to those and draws weren't bad results. Away draws against Arsenal in the form they were in was very good. That Utd match was a dour fest.

Mourinho will lift your players for the big occasion. Liverpool, may find it hard to break down a cohesive unit and their back line is incredibly suspect. I can understand people thinking it may be tight or that Liverpool's form makes them favourites. But I cannot understand how dismissive some Chelsea fans are of their chances in Anfield. It's baffling. Ye have every chance.

but City fans boycotted arsenal over 62 quid tickets last season in a category A game.
(probably right to, 62 quid is steep)

No chance. The owners will see it as an extra source of income. FFP, and all that. #50-60 for a (probably) meaningless game against not particularly attractive opposition will struggle to sell out. Looking at the pictures, I'm guessing at around 43k there tonight. In a realistic capacity of around 47k (allowing for segregation).

Not just City but everyone of the so called big clubs need cop the fűck on and stop pricing out the grass root supporters.

I really hope the current joined up campaign by a number of fan-club grows over the next few years.
'Football without fans is nothing' have had some success and hopefully it continues.
