What's the actual difference?

Besides the cost (€63, the ones I came across) of Priority & Non Priority shower switches?

What will actually physically happen differently if one shower is in use & someone tries to turn on the second shower depending on whether priority or non priority switch is installed?

What I actually want is - If Shower 1 is in use then Shower 2 will not operate at all until shower 1 is turned off so not sure which switch is required

    Thanks

That's a priority unit you want then.

Shower 1 will always be favoured.

Non priority means neither is favoured, whichever is turned on first gets the power.

I don't actually need either shower to be favoured over the other, I assume both switch types ensure only one shower is on at any one time...I may be having a blonde moment but if a non priority switch is used does that mean that if shower 1 is on with someone in it & then shower 2 is turned on, shower 1 loses power straight away & shower 2 then works away?

If so then yes I need a priority switch

If you have a priority unit then shower 1 will always have priority, i.e. it will work even if shower 2 is in use. Shower 2 will lose its power.

If you have a non priority unit then whichever shower is in use will keep the power until it is switched off.

Yes a priority unit will mean that the priority shower can be used even of shower number 2 is in use.

Just bear that in mind. So if someone is in shower 2, and someone else goes to use shower one, shower one will come on, cutting off shower 2. So shower 1 always over-rules shower 2 if shower 1 is used.

A non priority one means who ever is using a shower gets to finish before the other can be used. First come - first serve sort of setup.
