Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How many potentially great games has mourinho ruined now? It's enough to put you off watching football. Why do you bother getting all of these top class ( and very expensive) footballers to NOT play football with them?

Delighted for atletico this season but chelsea, and mourinho, are just bad for football. This is shocking to watch. Crystal palace play better football.

Replays of this match should of be made available on prescription.

And you'd probably watch that too.

First one over. But it could be messy. Retrospective suspensions maybe? I dunno. It's highly annoying when it happens.

Are ITV and TV3 the only channels some people have?

Willian has to get Man of the match. The amount of work he does.

Playing open attacking football against this Atletico team is absolute suicide unless you are one of the top teams in Europe, which Chelsea are not.

    Looks like it....

.... Or maybe they are enthralled by a fantastic tactical battle and are on the edge of their seats to see the outcome.

I was just gonna post similar. He covers some ground, I was gutted when Liverpool missed out on him.

Would have thought the CL semi-finalists could be considered would of the top teams in Europe.

Ya, any team thats tried to play ball agains them has been beaten. looking like a good result if it finishes 0-0.

Only thing thats poor is missing 4 players for it by the looks of it.

Ah come an Gav. The amount of money Chelsea have spent surely they can produce something better than this. I know winning is the number one goal but it must be frustrating if you are a chelsea fan having to watch your team play like Stoke with a high wage bill.

My only gripe with him is how cheaply he gives the ball away at times.

what constitutes a top team in Europe LOL. I guess winning a European trophy 2 years on the bounce and going for a 3rd doesn't make you a top team

Would you have Sheffield United or Wigan as one of the top teams in England?

I'd have Bayern, Barca, Real and Atletico in the top bracket. Chelsea the one below.

Willian is like the Brazilian James Milner, more effective in defence than attack..

What is Costa at with these bicycle kicks.

Why would Madrid be desperate? They've the best defence in the Champions League, if they score one at Stamford Bridge Chelsea need 2. If it's 0-0 after 90 they've an extra 30 mins to get an away goal.

Is there a bookies in Madrid that took a large bet on an overhead goal tonight or what?

This will be a cracking result for Chelsea.

Now they should really rest all the players for Sunday and turn over Athleti in the next game. :p

Luiz scored a Hollywood free kick many moons ago and he's missed every attempt since. Lamps should take them if he's on the pitch.

I don't think either team will be too disappointed with this.
