Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

chain misalignment and wear

    I recently noticed a lot of slack in my chain and on closer inspection i have noticed that the wheel adjusters sliders are not in line.

    I am guessing that this is the reason for the much quicker chain wear, am I right?
    ps. a mechanic was the last person at this when the back wheel was changed.

    It looks like the axle bolt wasn't sitting properly behind the slider. The damage on the slider is from the axle being tightened in on it. If it was left like that it might have now "spun" and slipped into its proper place. This would mean the axle bolt is no longer properly tightened. Of course that damage might have been there before this ever happened but it's worth checking before you ride it again...
