Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fat Ronaldo would have scored that one

I wonder who the under age prostitute is rooting for.

    Subtle...

Because the German league champions, cup finalists and Champions League semi finalists aren't effective?

They are. But against the best teams, completely dominating for 15-20 minutes and playing perfectly counts for SFA when you go 1-0 down.

Someone has their work cut out for them.

Bayern not really doing anything with the ball.

This game is perfect for Real now. I expect them to score at least 1 more goal in this game.

You won't see a more clinical counter attack all season.

Should be 3-0 Real now. Bayern cannot deal with their counter attacks at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 438 ✭✭podge79

that should be another. Real should be 3 up

Pepe should be told to leave the pitch for that!

Are there any videos of players legitimately injuring themselves with an exaggerated dive?

Di Maria is doing his best impression of Ryan Babel tonight. Could come back to haunt Madrid.

Can't see them keeping up this defensive effort for 90 mins.

They are a good team but not as good as last year . Pep needs to abandon the passing game and play counter attacking football .

Brazilian Ronaldo is the greatest Ronaldo of all time. Didn't have a cartilage left in his knee and was still the best on the pitch.

I'm sure at HT in the dressing room he would listen to the manager, not be changing his hairstyle in the bathroom.

    ---

Happy Bayern are losing. Pep out/Jupp in.

The only player willing to take on players for Bayern seems to be Robben. Passing can only get you so far. Need a different approach.

Less than a year ago, they won the treble. They are the champs of Germany again. They are very good.
They can defend, but they are playing Real Madrid away from home.

Some people have very poor memories.

I'm sure there are tons. I remember Coutinho did his shoulder in with a theatrical leap earlier in the season. A Swansea player kicked him pretty viciously and he decided it warranted a 6 foot dive into the air....did his shoulder on the way down.

You do realise than anyone has played/managed etc has commended him on his team work, staying on after training to do his own work etc.... So your talking piss there

Haha no, possession is control. That's the mindset that has made Guardiola, arguably, the best coach in the world. It's 1-0 now, lets see what the score is after 90 minutes, Madrid will tire, this Bayern possession is relentless and Madrid will wilt.

It does appear Munich don't have a plan B.
Madrid pace up front is very dangerous. can see another couple of goals in this one

How would both teams play counter Attacking football??? Love to see that type of game.

He's the hardest working man in football, his looks and hair are a bonus.

This just sums up how stupid some people's opinions of Ronaldo is. How do you know what he's like in the dressing room? Brazilian Ronaldo was a brilliant player but so too is Cristiano, and his consistant excellence over the past number of years puts him higher in my opinion. Everyone has their own preference, but your petty, irrational dislike of a fantastic player is clear here.

Bayern aren't playing the great attacking football they done one or two years ago. Passing it around too much.
