Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ashley Cole could be said to be lucky to be still on the pitch there. Forearm to the head/neck and escaped all sanction... Strange one.

No, players jumping with their arms is normal. Cole was looking at the ball, expecting Suarez to jump and he just leaned into him.

    I'd have given a penalty.

Where is the sexy football Abramovich paid a billion pounds for and sacked every manager that couldn't give it to him?

Obviously it's a pragmatic approach - it's just a shame it's the approach adopted by a team worth hundreds of millions.

They weren't very pragmatic when they dominated the entire game at Stamford bridge. First team ever to adopt a defensive approach away from home?

Who was that to the left of hendo?

Chelsea playing like they are the team where a point would be enough.

Which game is that? Don't remember any domination this season. I do remember Eto'o shouldn't have been on the pitch after 5 minutes though.

Liverpool fans whinging abut chelsea's tactics are sounding pretty pathetic.

just go and beat them, it shouldn't matter how they are playing.

Perhaps Chelsea should play in a way that suits Liverpool? Laughable.

Kelly to the left who was on the right looked like he was making his confirmation.

2-1, dominated the game bar the first 10 minutes.

Entire game is a bit of a stretch, and a "defensive" approach is one thing, not even trying to play football and time wasting right from the beginning is another.

And Suarez shouldn't have been on the pitch when he scored the winner against Chelsea in injury time last season.

Atkinson needs to start flashing some yellows here for time wasting.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,805 ✭✭✭mightyreds

Is it not a yellow for time wasting

This time wasting is so small time.

I don't mind Chelsea's tactics, there's more than one way to skin a cat but this time wasting lark sees yellow cards when it's the 88th minute why doesn't the same logic get applied here, they've had multiple warnings, time for Atkinson to crack out the yellow.

Absolute dogshiit game of football. This is a poorer league without a Man U side challenging to the end.

    Haha Suarez clapping Schwarzer, classic.

Not all Liverpool fans. Don't think anyone has an issue with the tactics, it's Jose's tendency to throw the toys out of the pram when other teams dare to take that approach to his teams.

    Why was that a free?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Time wasting will be a piece of genius if Chelsea win the game, stopping Liverpool's quick start

Obviously if Liverpool win he'll look like a mug

Liverpool got away with that. Very easily could have been a penalty
