Family Self Catering Accom in City/County Galway

    Hi all,

    Can anyone recommend self catering holiday accommodation in Galway (city or county) suitable for a family (2+2)? I can see lots of posts here for accommodation for large groups (stags and hens) but we want to avoid that if possible as our kids are small.

    Depending on when you will be visiting, some of the student villages do apartment rentals from June - August. Some of these include Corrib Village (next to NUIG and 2.2 km from the town centre), Gleann Na Ri apartments (nice but 4.2 km from town centre), Glasan GMIT Student Village (3.6 km from town centre).

    Some hotels such as the Menlo Park hotel on the Headford Rd and Park Lodge hotel outside Spiddal also have apartments / holiday homes for summer rentals.
