Are Irish commemorative stamy worth much

    Hi ive been collecting stamps for around 2 years now & recently wondered if my collection would be valuable or worth much ? i'm not selling just curious !
    ive got loads of irish commemorative's starting from 1929 up to 1943 a complete set of that
    ive also got bits & bobs from different years but not complete sets both mint never hinged &
    fine used

    Also i have Irish free state stamps over prints in 1922

    Half penny
    one penny
    three half pence
    two pence
    two pence half penny
    three pence
    four pence
    five pence
    six pence
    nine pence
    one shilling
    ten pence

    sea horse 1922
    2/6 half crown mint
    5 shillings

    ive also got old stamps from countries that no longer exist like soviet union (russia)

    Old german nazzi stamps with hitler on them

    ceskoslovensko

    Viet nam

    Old iraq stamps

    aswell as old usa

    old commonwealth from 1930s on to early 40s

    A penny black

    penny red

    Hope someone can help me identify how much it would be worth plus ive tons more stuff

    also got a First day cover commemorative of 1916 easter rising

    Nice collection, Irish free state overprints are valuable stamps especially the high face value ones.

    First day cover commemorative of 1916 easter rising - worth at least 20 euros if it's the 1966 issue with all 8 stamps present.

    Mastersun - what about Irish commemorative stamps starting from 1929 are the valuable or worth much ?

    In general, most pre-1960 Irish sets in MNH condition worth something. On the top of head, most valuable ones are the 1929 Daniel O'Connell set and the 1941 overprints.

    You should check out eBay to get an idea of what prices your various stamps are fetching and sites like this http://www.irishstamps.net - just remember, condition is everything. :)
