Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hon the lads, expecting an all out attacking blitz with Giggs subbing himself on if a penalty was to be given and subsequently missing it with scholes telling him he's a dope.

Joking aside, really excited for this game! :D

Can honestly see United clicking for this game and winning well.

Actually looking forward to watching them play again, feels like forever since i had that feeling

This will be very difficult for United. Norwich are fighting for their lives an gave Liverpool plenty to do last weekend.

The appointment of Giggs may give the squad a lift but i'd be wary that with little to play for and the likelihood that Giggs will not get the job full time that some players may have WC or their summer holidays on their minds.

    5 - 0

Everyone at OT gets a free beer and burger.

    Cheerleaders at HT.

    Can't wait.

With the playing released from the negative, clueless tactics, and playing for the manager again, I can see Utd banging in a few goals.

    Maybe 4-0, 5-0?

Yeah because United fans have been calm this year...but no go ahead, keep calm and keep up that top 6 formidability!

If United don't win tomorrow or win by an unconvincing one goal margin, this thread will be gold.

    A few stats -

Don't know how this will go

Moyes wasn't the only problem at United

Norwich showed enough against Liverpool to suggest they're well up for the relegation battle and will definitely see an opportunity here. If they can go ahead I don't think Giggs has the nous to change it up-with Ferguson glowering down from the stand he's more likely to make some panicky mistakes than actually help the team. 0-1 or 1-2

Man Utd starting XI vs Norwich: De Gea; Jones, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra; Valencia, Carrick, Cleverley, Kagawa; Welbeck, Rooney

ManUtd XI: De Gea, Jones, Vidic (c), Ferdinand, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Cleverley, Kagawa, Welbeck, Rooney. #MUFC #MANUTD

    bit underwhelming

    What were people expecting? :S

It's about how we play today, not who we play...

Ha ha! That team is hilarious! Almost all the players who have been on the receiving end of the boo boys start. No Mata is a bit odd.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,340 ✭✭✭PropJoe10

Mata on the bench? Odd to say the least. Moyes wasnt the only cause of United's poor form. Should win this one though.

Let's see how they line out and play before we start kicking off.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,347 ✭✭✭Quandary

If he started Young ahead of Kagawa I would be pretty miffed. Valencia deserves to start based on his most recent performances. Don't know what to think about Cleverley really. The back 4 doesn't surprise me.

If Uniteds team today was a political appointment, calls of cronyism would be rampant

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,385 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

At least the building for the future is there with Vidic and Rio, no way it can go wrong with them 2 in defense next season...oh wait.

    Where's Janujaz? :(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Sky have both Rooney and Welbeck up front

So Carrick and TC23 to play sideways balls to Kagawa and Valencia to cross into Rooney and Welbz

Giggs confirmed it there that Rooney and Welbeck are playing up front

Hopefully doing some training so he'll be at the level he has the potential to be next season and not just be overly praised for 1 good moment a match.

That is a bit disappointing, I'm expecting a big performance from TC23 though.

Nah,Scholes has schooled them into how to actually play intelligent balls forward and move into space.;)

  • No Mata? Can't get my head around that 1

This is mad. Like, Ryan Giggs managing. Kinda cool, if yer a United fan after the season they've had. Must be exciting to see them in a different mood today.

    3-1 United.

Sky showing the United way, Giggs, Beckham and Ronaldo the wingers though

    We have Valencia

That's the team Fergie told Giggs to line out in the phone call isn't it?

Anyway, Giggs looks the part in fairness.
