    Competed in the IPF Inaugural.

    My goals going into it were:
    1. 570
    2. First 9/9 meet
    3. Have fun

    Ended up hitting:

    Squat 175 / 190 / 205
    Bench 115 / 125 / 130x
    Deadlift 200 / 225 / 240
    Total 570

    So, goal 1 achieved. Missing the third bench was silly, I'm fairly sure the strength was there but I didn't set up very well and refused a lift-off. I should probably have called 127.5 as the 125 was a little slow but I'll learn from it. Goal 3 was definitely achieved – was probably the most fun meet I've been to so far.

    Was pleased with the 240 pull given the fact I'm still beltless*. There was definitely more there in the squat as well which was nice.

    Basically it's the story of my life coming out of the meet... need to get stronger and lose weight... I need to lose weight more than I need to get stronger... but getting stronger (at least trying to...) is so much more fun.

    Weight has crept up to silly levels now though (142.5kg was my official competition weight) so it's time to get that in check. Running a half-marathon on July 4th should help with that but more importantly will be getting the nutrition side under control again.

    I won't make the 120s for the next IPF meet in August but I'd like to get down to my previous (IDFPA) weight of -125kg and take it from there. Should be doable enough.

    I'm travelling sporadically over the next few weeks so I need to spend an hour planning out my programming to accommodate that but I expect it'll be a repeat of the linear progression stuff and hitting some smart accessory movements hard.

    * I have three good belts: Elite FTS 6.5mm single-prong, Elite FTS 13mm lever, and (recently) an Inzer 13mm lever... buuuuuut none of them fit at the moment. Ahem.

    Yeah, knew it was a KB SLDL but wasn't sure on the weight I used. Should probably be swinging in fairness.

    Feeling nicely keto-adapted again. No more lightheadedness during sessions.

    Work capacity still needs a lot of improvement but at least it's that holding me back rather than missing an energy source.
