Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is the Sindo on TV

It always has been..RTE in a brave move took the star columnist of the country's leading selling newspaper and asked him to host a prime time chat show.

The mistake they made was overlooking the fact that a cardboard box could bring as much personality to the role.

The European Elections have very little relevance to anyone except the Party Leaders and the Candidates themselves.

Most people couldn't tell you who their MEPs are.

No matter how bad/good tonights show is I'm glad I got to fulfill my lifelong few weeks ambition of starting a SNS or LLS thread! :o:D

110 caps and most people wouldn't recognise Kevin Kilbane.

Nice guy, decent player, made the most of his talent.

Unless Kevin Kilbane is here to announce his new career as a magician, I think introducing him as "The Great Kevin Kilbane" is excessive..

David Moyes will be back, he had a crowd of chancers to manage that it was never going to happen with, too many ego's that he wasn't given the power to drop and sack. He has the redundancy cash to live like a pimp for a good 5 years but I'd say he will be back in a management job before the summer is out.

Giggs is a rat.. He was offered the job of assistant manager to David Moyes but turned it down because of "family commitments"... As soon is Moyes is out the door he knifes Moyes in the back and takes control with no mention of any family commitments...

  • Registered Users Posts: 179 ✭✭AlwaysAnyTime

ah sure they never would have beaten relegation zone Norwich if Giggs didn't take over as manager

Dutch coach will take it, can't announce it until after the World Cup or it will upset things in the Dutch camp.

Hard work is being confused with cunning. Moyes had lots of the former but none of the latter

Where's the depressing aspect of this interview, is this still the Saturday Night Show. I am confused.

In fairness, Ryan Giggs always seems like a decent enough person.

(apart from that unfortunate little incident where he had an 8-year affair with his brother's wife)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

He is a cousin of James Kilbane who got to the final of the first You're a Star in 1994.

Any man that does that to his brother could never be described as decent

Exactly, I think it's not someone who should be leading a major football club either, doesn't help their reputation employing such people.

Rather than asking Kilbane about the Man Utd situation,If the Saturday Night show done their research they would have ex-Man Utd boss Frank O'Farrell on the show tonight. He is in Cork this weekend. He got shafted the same way as Moyes and the man would have a few tales to tell about Georgie Best, winning the Asian Cup with Iran etc.

A pity he still not done an interview on Irish TV.

Good shout. He was on either Second Captains or the old Off The Ball a while back, interesting character.
