My e-mails have "disappeared "

    Hi,

    My e-mails fro, 18  07  2012  to date have vanished ??
    They were all there when I opened the account, but now a huge amount of the recent ones are gone.
    I do not think I pressed any button, at least not deliberately.

    The e-mails that are missing are from the Inbox only.
    My sent, drafts, trash folders etc are all there. 
    If I get a new e-mail it appears in the inbox.

    I would appreciate any assistance

    Perhaps you set up your email on Outlook or something? When you do it with default settings it downloads the emails from your inbox onto your machine.

    Have you signed in to the webmal version to see if the missing emails are showing there : https://secure.eircom.net/email/

    If you are an eircom broadband customer you can reach eircoms email support centre on 1890260260 however if you are not an eircom customer you can reach them on 1530277100.

    It is just an outcome of bad synchronization. It is better to check all settings & protocols.

    Let me know detailed  information about email client and current status of data files? Then i would be able to explain other possible reasons of missing messages.
