Msc in GIS and remote sensing. Careers?

    Hi all,

    I was hoping someone on here could help me out. I've a BA in Geography and Psychology 2:2 and I am considering applying for masters in GIS and remote sensing in UCC.

    So is there a career in GIS and remote sensing?

    I have talked to the course coordinator and she was very nice and seemed positive but I was hoping someone on here has personal experience and could give me some advise

    Have a look at these and see what you think. There's always some kind of jobs going with GIS and remote sensing, most mining companies, local authorities etc... need someone to do mapping for them. Having known a good few people that have done the NUIM course, there are plenty of work opportunities with GIS and remote sensing.
