Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I see that Apple have started a free repair of the sleep buttons on some iPhone 5 models. My phone qualifies for the free repair but so far I have had no issues. I am looking for people's advice as to whether I should get it replaced anyways in case it does develop a problem. The free repair is only available until the phone is two years old.

    Appreciate any opinions.

How can your phone be repaired if it doesn't have the problem ?

It's a sort of a recall, like they sometimes do with cars and that. Certain batches of phones were identified as being more likely to develop a problem with the sleep button so they have compiled a list of serial numbers linked to these phones and are offering a free replacement of the sleep button to anyone on the list who wants to take advantage of it.

OP, I think you should hold off if you don't have any problem at the moment and if it develops a problem send it to them, if not wait until maybe a month before it's two years old and have it replaced then to get the max out of it. Unless you are going to sell it before that, then it might be wise to have it seen to before the sale.

It's not a recall. If your sleep/wake button is working they won't do anything.
