Posted this in the plumbing forum, but maybe it's better here!

Just wondering if anyone has a rough idea how much it would cost to have a stanley Brandon range cooker installed? It's an oil fired one were looking at, to replace an existing superstar/twin burner. The current one heats water and 8 rads- most of which are doubles. It hasn't been used for cooking in years, but obviously it's capable of it!

We're currently looking at these - it's a bit of a waste of space, but removing it altogether and replacing with another boiler would likely be a bigger job than we want to take on.

We're looking at the difference between the ordinary oil cooker and the Brandon condenser cooker. We're also considering a reconditioned one too- a lot cheaper, but maybe we'd be as well to spend the extra money and get a new one altogether.

If anyone had any feedback on any of the above, I'd love to hear it! It's a lot of money to spend without a recommendation from someone other than a sales person!!

Also, I'd love a vague idea of how much it might cost to get the cooker taken out altogether, and a boiler fitted out in the shed? Though I know there's probavly too many unknowns for anyone to know really!
