level 7 course to level 8?

whats the dealio? does it have to be same the same college? i was thinking of doing a level 7 in carlow and moving to a level 8 in maynooth if possible. (software development in carlow/computer science in maynooth) is this even possible?

I believe you can, you will have to finish the Level 7 course (3 years I presume) and then you can go and do Level 8 course in Maynooth and you'll be transferred into 4th year.

You should check with the course coordinators in both colleges as they can give you the details about as your modules should be very similar to each.
