To be fair to Bayern, Real Madrid are probably the best team in the world on paper and have been since Ronaldo joined them.

It was always about getting the right man in the hotseat to get the most out of them. I think Ancelotti is amazing so I'm happy for him, even if I'm not hugely fond of some of Real's players.

English teams went out 1 in the group stage, 1 in the last 32 and 1 in the last 16.
