Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tom Gilmartin's shocking story of corruption was just the prelude to how Ireland ended up bankrupt - planners & politicians taking bribes from developers to get planning permission for massive building projects.
When Tom Gilmartin wouldn't pay bribes they all turned against him and stonewalled his efforts. Horrific story and there's so little about now:mad:

I watched this bit. Nasty corrupt country it is.

    Yes indeed.

All of what was said last night was revealed in the tribunals, but I think, for me, it was hearing it said so eloquently, by Tom Gilmartin Jnr, and hearing about the personal impact on his parents, and family, that made it very real indeed.

Really enjoyed last night's Late Late - best one in ages imo. That last section with Tom's Gilmartin's son was rivitting and Imelda May is priceless. We'll be coming to the end of the season soon, - no matter what we say about it I always miss it terribly during the Summer:(.

Have we determined yet why Christy was on the LLS last night?!

So that Tubridy could interrupt, as he did, more than once, to ask him what he thought. :D

Tubs got a little nervous when young gilmartin was discussing how sh1t ex pats are treated and how he would advise Irish ex pats to invest elsewhere! Tubs feet tap dancing under the desk!
