i have been contemplating getting my first ride on mower and am not sure what to buy. i seen a deal on a McCulloch 12.5hp (think its model number is M125-97)

    http://www.mcculloch.com/ie/products/tractors/m125-97tc/

for 2000 euro. is it a good mower for the money or would i get a better one for similar price?

i was also looking at a Husqvarna for similar price

    http://www.husqvarna.com/ie/products/garden-tractors/ct-126/

i'd say the McCulloch is better tractor for the money but not sure about the quality. i want one that will last a lifetime!

Out of the two of them the McCulloch is the better buy. (both lawnmowers are made by Husqvarna.)

For the 2000 mark you should be able to get a Castelgarden XDC140 or XDC104HD imo a better mower than the Husqvarna and McCulloch - albeit a bit smaller than the McCulloch in cutting width.
