Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There's a vast contrast between Neville the pundit and Neville the commentator

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,294 ✭✭✭✭rob316

That's that anyway they can almost touch the title now.:(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,347 ✭✭✭✭Grayditch

Ah well. The rest of Everton are playing strong, so fair play.

    Great header.

Is it me or did Tyler and Neville sound a bit disappointed/disinterested when that went in?

    ex Utd, current Everton keeper.

    hmmm.

City have strolled through this because Everton are.

    embarrassing.

    No, they're just useless commentators.

    Gary Neville " I'm bored"

    No Gary, you're boring us

    Should have buried that

This is a weird weird game.

I wonder how that crowd will feel if Arsenal feck up in their remaining games.

Not the best shot from Lukaku, there.

Shocking game of football. **** off Everton. Might as well call it up now.

Neville is much better as a pundit for sure, poor commentator. But I would have thought they'd be making more of a big deal of City coming back and now in the driving seat to win the 'greatest league in the world', Tyler usually doesn't miss an opportunity for it.

    that's the thing I don't get.

if they'd nothing to play for I'd understand it.

but this is small time stuff right now.

Pretty sure in that half there was more commentating on the fans than on the actual game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 18,294 ✭✭✭✭rob316

Howard doing his best to throw the game it seems. Pathetic goalkeeping

    Howard doing well

Is that sky playing oasis or its that really being played at Goodison?

Amazing how little effort City seem to be putting into this. You would never think it was a game in a close title run in.
Definitely a way back into this for Everton if they want it enough.

and apparently have no interest in the Champions League.

The problem he has is....Sky want Liverpool to win the title! It shows every weekend...never moreso than today!

They probably want high drama on title-decider Sunday rather than a complete forgone conclusion.

Like, I don't want to appear bitter, but Howard looks like he let those two in. I'm eh.. sure he didn't.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,725 ✭✭✭✭blueser

Have they mentioned the lack of atmosphere yet?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,122 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

Just seen the goals there, Howard is useless.

Playing Oasis songs does not equate to supporting Man City.
If it does, then I was a City supporter for years.

He really should have done better with City's 2 goals.

Playing Oasis songs does not equate to supporting Man City.

It's probably because Noel Gallagher is at the match rather than a City celebration

Arsenal have a home game against WBA who have nothing to play for
And an away game against Norwich who'll be already relegated by then.
Champions League has been gone for the last week.

Howard isn't even close to being at fault for the second goal  Not sure if people are looking for a scapegoat or whatever, but it's a perfect header by Dzeko.

They also don't want their team to have a chance of champions league football.

We don't call them the bitters for nothing.

Noel is at the game as a City fan. They played The Masterplan. Just because you‘re paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you.

He really should have done better with City's 2 goals.

Ahh get over it, 2nd goal wasn't his fault just a good header.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,136 ✭✭✭✭Rayne Wooney

Looking at those goals again, Howard didn't have much of a chance for both of them

Having just saw it there again I agree.

I can't fault the Everton players at all. Barkley, Naismith, Coleman and Osman are playing very well.

Can't blame Howard for the second, he was at full stretch. Just a good header.

Ah I didn't have you pegged for one of those Ric. What was Gerrard's excuse a couple of years back against City if that's the case. Would it be merely justice for that?

Well for the first one he should have covered his front post better since the attack was coming that side.

There was nothing he could do about the second goal

They know what they're doing playing Oasis at half time, it's not coincidence.

I'm not criticising them, by the way. Just a bit of banter on their part.

Do you seriously not think it's a wee bit fuckin' weird? Playing music 100% associated with your opposition?

I dunno, this whole thing seems just so weird...I can totally understand the man in the street saying they'd rather Liverpool didn't win the league - but to actively pay for your ticket, go to the trouble of going to the game, and then not support your team who are playing right there in front of you, running their balls off?
