Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Do you mean that she was wrongly advised to have the surgery (for profit of hospitals/consultants)?

Almost every ad break on TV and radio in Ireland currently features a health insurance company, how can they blow so much of their income on advertising when they are so similarly priced? In the UK it's rare to see any health insurance advertising.

It's hard to know what went wrong, all I know is that she was due to go in on the Thursday, on the Monday she was informed of the cost put on a waiting list almost 3 years ago. I asked when her operation was coming up and was told she does'nt need that operation.

Not an ounce of misery in that interview at all, full of positivity. I

It is, you can have no cover all your life and then when you hit 70 you can take out a policy for the same price as somone who is a healthy 18 year old. Not at all like car insurance where when you are young you pay top dollar based on actual risk.
