Birds Crapping On My Car

I am looking for a solution for birds crapping on my car.

As far as I can see, birds generally crap just as they are taking flight.

My car is parked in my driveway.

The birds seem to be perched on the gutter and when they take off, my car gets crapped on.

I've seen "anti-pigeon" spikes on some buildings in town.

Is there a domestic solution and particularly for gutters, and where can it be bought.

Have you tried asking them nicely? failing that send them a solictors letter.
